LEAN MACHINES v2
This isn’t actually how MINIs are built but the skills you need to succeed are the same as someone who’s running the real thing!

In this game you need to build cars to meet orders; customers have chosen what their cars should look like.

To do this you’ll need to make sure you’ve got enough parts in stock and that your workers are where they’re most needed.

Be careful with the stock levels though; unused parts have to be paid for.

There are three parts to achieve your best score. You’ll need:

  • A high number of cars to have been produced.
  • To have kept a low quantity of parts in stock.
  • To have used your team highly efficiently.

HOW TO PLAY

Production Console

  • Shows the status of your production line and the order queue.
  • The Time clock actually shows simulated hours and minutes on your production line up to game end at 24 hours.
  • Tap any car number in the queue to see the Specification panel.
  • Tap the large arrow to put your car order onto the production line.
  • Staff Free: The total number of staff available at any time.
  • Training: At certain times, staff may be sent for training which will limit your Staff Free.
  • Production Efficiency: This is dependant on using the right number of staff for each stage of an order.
  • Cars Built: The total number of cars you have built so far.

Specification panel

  • Tap an arrow either side of a car to change its position in the queue. This is useful if you want to complete a few cars of the same body type or colour etc. and improve efficiency.

Info Points

  • Select the correct part for the car entering the step and number of staff needed.
  • Status: If this changes, you may need to 'Call maintenance' to avoid delays
  • Order more parts (+) but avoid keeping too many in stock - these are expensive.
  • If parts run out, you will need to wait until they arrive.
  • Assign (+) or release (-) staff for the build. This affects your ‘Production Efficiency’ score.
  • Staff may need to attend training. During this time, the number of free staff available for some specifications will be limited.
